The Good Shepherd Painting Poster Print

from $37.00

There is a quiet place we long for...

A place where we no longer have to strive, pretend, or carry the weight of being enough. A place where we are simply held in perfect love.

This painting is my reflection on that place…

The Good Shepherd does not only watch over His sheep from a distance. He draws them close - so close that His cheek rests gently against theirs. It is a picture of a love that is deeply personal, tender, and unhurried. A love that delights in being near.

As I painted this piece, I kept returning to one thought: perhaps the greatest longing of the human heart is not simply to know that God loves us, but to experience what it is like to rest close to His heart.

My hope is that this painting print becomes a quiet invitation to pause for a moment and imagine yourself there - in the Shepherd's embrace, where nothing needs to be earned, nothing needs to be proved, and where His nearness gently reminds you that you have always been deeply loved.

"He gathers the lambs in His arms and carries them close to His heart."
Isaiah 40:11
