A sparrow—so easily overlooked—rests in the hand of Christ. Not because it is remarkable in the world's eyes, but because it is His creation.
This drawing grew from contemplating Jesus' words about the birds of the air. They reminded me that God's attention is never hurried, never divided. Every living thing is held within His loving consideration.
There is something profoundly moving about that thought: that nothing God has made is overlooked. Every feather, every living creature, every quiet detail of creation carries the touch of His loving attention.
As I drew this piece, I found myself lingering in that wonder. If such care is given to even the smallest sparrow, what does that reveal about the heart of the One who created us?
